Does anyone know any sites that allows you to download free historical monthly metal (copper and aluminium) price data, the best would be LME data.

I need historical spot prices, inventory, production and consumption data for my thesis. Till now I have only found it at westmetall.com, but three months of data are missing from 2008 there for all metals besides copper.

  • $\begingroup$ I thought this would be an easy Google search, but I was wrong. One of the free databases at quandl.com/… might help you. Note the database names/descriptions aren't particularly accurate, so actually look at the datasets list in each database (eg, quandl.com/data/WSJ) to see what's available. $\endgroup$ – barrycarter Feb 12 '16 at 20:09
