I wanted to know if there are any sources for historical financial ratios for Indian equities? If yes please share.

Thank you.

  • $\begingroup$ Historical data on ratios is often unreliable because, for example, the Earnings are first published and then revised later. Many times it is not clear if the data service is giving you the EP ratio based on the first or the revised numbers. Often the date for the "P" is before the date for the announcement of the "E" resulting in a meaningless ratio. $\endgroup$

I am not 100% sure what you need. Have you tried on Damodaran? He has data divided by regions and industries. What in particular do you need?

  • $\begingroup$ If you are searching something free, I only know the existence of Macrotrends.net, where they have P/E and other ratios for selected equities. You can sort by country. 12 Equities are listed for India which should have quarterly data on ratios. $\endgroup$ Commented May 30, 2021 at 7:50
