I am looking for some discussion papers, research insights on the Digital risk for fintech companies, bank etc. what they should. consider when offering their services (banking, lending etc.) digitally i.e. through app, websites etc.

Is their any regulatory instruction available from BIS and other central banks (e.g. BoE, Fed etc.)

Appreciate for any pointer.

Thanks,

$\begingroup$ NFR is what we used to call "operational risk" (sometimes a little more). Sure BIS has lots of regulatory discussions bis.org/list/bcbs/tid_28/index.htm . However - I'm not sure I understand what you're looking for - something like orx managingrisktogether.orx.org ? $\endgroup$ Jun 15, 2021 at 10:51
  • $\begingroup$ Thanks. Basically what I am looking for is: If a bank/financial institute wants to offer their services digitally (i.e. online banking etc.), what kind of risks they should think of $\endgroup$ Jun 15, 2021 at 10:55

Some of the main non-financial risks the industry currently faces are cyber risk, and supply-chain risk. Cyber risk is the risk of hacking and systems exploitation by malicious actors, and supply chain risk can be thought of as vendors that provide data or external models not meeting their contractual obligations or experiencing cyber risk events as well. As said above, these fall under operational risk and can be managed in a comprehensive Enterprise Risk Management framework. A quick search found this Deloitte article: https://www2.deloitte.com/us/en/insights/topics/cyber-risk/cyber-risk-management-financial-services-industry.html
